Massage for Natural healing, relaxation and stress/tension release

Reflexology is a natural healing treatment, which utilises massage and pressure techniques to stimulate nerve ending in the feet and hands. The feet are commonly used to treat the whole body.

Remedial/Deep Tissue Massage

As Deep tissue massage (DTM) works at a deeper level the focus is to work through the layers of soft tissue and try to help relieve chronic pain and tension. DTM is usually slower than regular massage and with more focus on particular areas; therefore treatment will not always encompass all areas of the body in each session.

Chronic conditions may initially require the full 60 minutes and regular follow up sessions

This treatment complements the work of physical practitioners - chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists etc.

Remedial MassageAim of Remedial/Deep Tissue Massage – to help

  • Understand where the soft tissue restrictions are held
  • Understand how these restrictions may have developed i.e. through trauma, habits, postural imbalances, sporting activities (past or present) etc.
  • Encourage ease of restriction

  • Promote self treatment i.e. exercise, relaxation
